Is it worth it??
I’ve had a love-hate relationship with Loot Crate since my first ever box two years ago. I only order crates which feature themes I’m interested in and then cancel it again until another one that interests me is coming. From the crates I have received: two have been great, a couple have been okay and a lot have just been a waste of money.
The problem is you don’t know what you’re going to get and a lot of the time, you may think you will like the crate due to the theme featured that month, but then they give you socks…
I ordered this Loot Crate DX back in August, it was supposed to come in September, better late than never, as they say. So what did I think about the box???
The box was slightly disappointing, no special design inside and it was rather small. Already felt like it wasn’t worth the money; bare in mind this crate costs £59!
The layout inside the box was nicely prepared and packaged.
And these are our items! A Venom beenie which folds out to create a mask, an X-files 3D poster, a Predator pint glass, an Invader Zim pin and Alien pyjama bottoms.
The most obvious question about this crate is would I buy any of this stuff? Quite honestly, yes I would. I would buy the pyjama bottoms and I would buy the Predator glass, the other things I’m not fussed with at all. Although the beanie is a guilty pleasure.
Overall I’m a bit disappointed with the crate, I expected a Predator figure or a Venom comic or something, instead just got standard stuff, not really deserving to be called a premium crate. I’ve got October’s Loot Crate DX which is coming soon hopefully and Loot Fright which I am really excited for. I hope that those unboxings are less disappointing than this! Again, it’s not all bad two of the items I would actually buy and two were average.
SCORE: 6/10
